Die Veranstaltung, die vom 16.-17. Juni 2011 im Auswärtigen Amt in Berlin stattfinden wird, dient insbesondere der Netzwerkbildung der deutschen Mitarbeiter/-innen internationaler und europäischer Organisationen untereinander und dem fachlichen Dialog mit Vertretern der Bundesregierung.

With effect from 5 January 2011, Germany assumed the chair of two important bodies of the United Nations Security Council: the Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict and the Al-Qaida and Taliban Sanctions Committee.
