Nuclear disarmament will be the main focus of this year’s Pugwash Conference, which will take place at the Federal Foreign Office from 1 to 4 July. During the conference, experts from politics and science as well as representatives of the media and public will discuss “European Contributions to Nuclear Disarmament & Conflict Resolution”.

The conference will open one day after the meeting of the European Leadership Network, which will bring together a host of high-ranking former politicians at the Federal Foreign Office. On Thursday (30 June) they will exchange views on “Reducing the Role of Nuclear Weapons in the NATO-Russia Relationship”.
