Press Conference with Ambassador Berger: 64th Annual UN DPI/NGO Conference

The 64th Annual United Nations DPI / NGO Conference "Sustainable Societies / Responsive Citizens" will be held in Bonn / Germany from 3-5 September. Organizers have received registrations of far more than 2000 participants who will come together in Bonn to discuss sustainable development and volunteerism. The conference is designed to contribute to both the preparation of the Rio+20 Conference in 2012 and a two-day special session of the General Assembly in December 2011.

In New York, a PRESS CONFERENCE is scheduled for Friday, 26 August 2011, at 11am in the Dag Hammarskjoeld Library Auditorium. TheĀ  Acting Permanent Representative of Germany to the United Nations, Miguel Berger, will take part as the representative of the host country.
